The festival is held based on various topics. It may be based on someone's birthday or political events of a country or the event of a political party. Likewise, the New Year is a matter of festival. 

Whatever the occasion, the only thing is, that is the happiness of the mind. 

Therefore, no specific area or region is needed for the happiness of the mind. 

New Year's festival is different in each country. People of every country celebrate the New Year according to their culture. 

New Year is celebrated at one time in one country at once. According to the regional calendar. China's New Year is once, the New Year of India at another time. 

But the English New Year is celebrated all over the world at the same time. 

At present, regional New Year is also celebrated around the world due to globalization and the internet. 

For example, the Bangla New Year is a festival in Bangladesh. But Bangladeshis and Bengali people living around the world celebrate. 

Even citizens of other countries of the world greet Bangla New Year.

1st Boishakh is the 1st day of Bangla calendar. 

Almost 500 years ago emperor Akbar started Bangla calendar. 

And we know that, emperor Akbar was the religious person. 

And he was a wise, experienced, loyal and liberal person on religion. 

This is why, Akbar made Bangla calendar according to Hijri calendar. 

Thus, year by year Bangla calendar has been changing. 

And all of Bengali and Bangladeshi people of the world have been festering Bangla new year festivity in various countries. 

It is true that, though Akbar made Bangla calendar for his administrative facilities — but now, Bangla new year festivity is a common culture for the Bengali and Bangladeshi people. 

I support the 1st Boishakh festivity — but, never support impoliteness by the name 1st boishakh festivity. 

উৎসব অনুষ্ঠিত হয় বিভিন্ন বিষয়ের ভিত্তিতে। সেটা হতে পারে কারোর জন্মদিন অথবা কোন দেশের রাজনৈতিক ঘটনা অথবা কোন রাজনৈতিক দলের ঘটনার ভিত্তিতে। তেমনি নববর্ষও উৎসবের একটা বিষয়।

উপলক্ষ্য যেটাই হোক, কার্যত একটাই বিষয়, সেটা হচ্ছে মনের আনন্দ।

তাই মনের আনন্দের জন্য সুনির্দিষ্ট কোন এলাকা অথবা অঞ্চলের প্রয়োজন হয়না।

নববর্ষের উৎসব একেক দেশে একেক রকম। প্রত্যেক দেশের মানুষ নিজেদের সংস্কৃতি অনুযায়ী নববর্ষ পালন করেন।

আঞ্চলিকভাবে একেক দেশে একেক সময়ে নববর্ষ পালন হয়। দেশীয় ক্যালেন্ডার অনুযায়ী। চীনের নববর্ষ এক সময়ে, ভারতের নববর্ষ আরেক সময়ে।

কিন্তু ইংরেজি নববর্ষ পালন হয় সারা বিশ্বে একই সময়ে।

বর্তমানে গ্লোবালাইজেশন ও ইন্টারনেটের বদৌলতে আঞ্চলিক নববর্ষও বিশ্বজুড়ে পালিত হয়।

যেমন বাংলা নববর্ষ বাংলাদেশের উৎসব হলেও সারা বিশ্বে অবস্থানরত বাংলাদেশি ও বাঙালিরা পালন করেন।

এমনকি বিশ্বের অন্যান্য দেশের নাগরিকগণও বাংলা নববর্ষের শুভেচ্ছা প্রদান করেন। ©️All Right Reserved by Junayed Ashrafur Rahman
